Before, the land of Machlyne was a fairly peaceful place to live. Plenty of food, plenty of land, and plenty of canines. That was the only thing the humans had to complain about, the rising number of stray dogs. Where were they all coming from? Most humans were unaware that the canines were all leaking out of Spatech. Oblivious to the humans, the canines had their own struggles. They worried mostly about being snatched up from the streets and thrown into the lab. Even with all of this no one could really complain about life outside of the research lab, but... that was then.

All of that peace, all of that simplicity, however, was a horrible, well hidden lie. The whole time canines and humans went about their lives outside the lab, a different world existed in the lab. Horrible experimentations were going on behind those walls, and now...Machlyne can only be compared to Hell. The humans have fallen to an incurable disease and these creatures inhabiting this horrible place can barely be called canines now. This is now.
